The violation was issued to a residential condominium located in the Bal Bridge South property for conducting renovations without permits. The warning was issued to a residential property within the gated community for an appearance issue involving the home's roof which is in a state of disrepair. Criminal Investigations Division Weekly Summary Report Comments: The Criminal Investigations detective continued to proactively investigate the allegation of discrimination against a family with an Autistic child living in the Plaza Condominium property. All parties involved were interviewed and the Miami -Dade State Attorney's office was consulted as to the facts of this case. The review of this case by the State Attorney's Hate Crimes Division revealed that the circumstances involved did not rise to a level that would warrant a criminal prosecution. Noteworthy Incidents / Arrests I.✓P/ / ., /, `. 04/29/2018 Assist Other Agency Intra-Coastal Waterway, Haulover Sandbar COMMENTS The Miami Dade County and Florida Wildlife Commission Marine Patrol Units received information obtained via social media that larger than normal crowds of boaters were to gather in the Haulover sandbar near Bal Harbour. The Bal Harbour Marine Patrol participated in a coordinated multi -agency detail in order to enforce all federal, state and local maritime regulations and statutes. Date Incident Type Location 05/02/2018 Arrest/Drugs 9700 Block Collins Avenue COMMENTS Bal Harbour police officers initiated a traffic stop while conducting enforcement of illegal right turns from the Bal Harbour Shops. The investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. The driver was arrested and released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) in court at a later date. 3 BAL HARBOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT Acting Chief Raleigh Flowers, Jr. Weekly Summary Report Week of Friday, April 27 — May 03, 2018 Date Incident Type 05/03/2018 Disturbance / Trespass Warning 10275 Collins Avenue, Harbour House COMMENTS Bal Harbour police officers were summoned regarding a disturbance involving an ex -employee trespassing on the property demanding a meeting with the board members. Management personnel and police officers administered a trespass warning and the individual left the area. i r � s 05/04/2018 Stalking 10275 Collins Avenue, Harbour House COMMENTS A resident reported being stalked by a person with whom the complainant entered into a civil agreement. Bal Harbour police officers conducted a preliminary investigation and documented the incident. The officers also met and interviewed the alleged subject, who denied the allegations.
