A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY
BISCAYNE ADOPTING THE FINAL MILLAGE RATE OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 1994 THROUGH SEPTEMBER
30, 1995, PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTE 200.065
(TRIM BILL) ; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 200.065 of the Florida Statutes
the Property Appraiser has made tax assessments for all real
property within the jurisdiction of the Village of Key Biscayne; and
WHEREAS, on September 8, 1994, the Village Council adopted the
"Tentative Millage Rate" of 4.101 mils, Resolution 94-30, for the
fiscal year commencing October 1, 1994 and further scheduled the
final public hearing required by Section 200.065 of the Florida
Statutes to be held on September 26, 1994, at 7:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, said public hearing, as required by Section 200.065
(2)(d), was held by the Village Council on September 26, 1994,
commencing at 7:00 p.m., as previously advertised, and the public
and all interested parties having had the opportunity to address
their comments to the Village Council, the Village Council having
considered the comments of the public regarding the millage rate and
having complied with the "TRIM" requirements of the Florida
Statutes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY
BISCAYNE, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the millage rate for the Village of Key
Biscayne for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 1994 through
September 30, 1995 be and is hereby fixed at the rate of .004101
mils which is $4.101 per thousand dollars of assessed property
within the Village of Key Biscayne.
Section 2. That the roll -back rate is 4.1011 mils and the
final millage rate is $4.101 -- which is .0024 percent under the
roll -back rate.
Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon
its adoption by the Village Council.
