AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1992 BUDGET AND
REPEALING ORDINANCES NO. 62-1992 AND NO. 72-1992
WHEREAS the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, adopted a budget
for calendar year 1992, and
WHEREAS Ordinance No. 62-1992 was adopted August 17, 1992, and Ordinance No.
72-1992 was adopted October 5, 1992, as amendments of the 1992 budget,
and
WHEREAS errors were made in the preparation of both of said ordinances, and
WHEREAS Common Council has determined it is necessary to transfer money from one
major budget classification to another within a department or office, and
WHEREAS the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-
1.1, and
WHEREAS this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice
and without the approval of the state board of tax commissioners,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that Ordinances No. 62-1992 and No. 72-1992 are hereby repealed and that the 1992 budget be
amended as follows:
A. Park and Recreation Fund
1. Delete $8,640.00 for Non Park Mowing
No. 219-39-390-3901-1-1191
2. Add $8,640.00 for Mowing Contracts
No. 219- 3 9-390-3901- 3- 3994
B. General Fund - Unsafe Buildings Division
1. Delete $3,000.00 for Other Contract Services
No. 101-6-7-702-3-3990
2. Add $3,000.00 for Overtime
No. 101-6-7-702-1-1302
