RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION TO NORMA GRENCH FOR
OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL
PARK DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the outstanding service of Norma Grench to
the Midpeninsula Regional Park District has come to a close,
and
WHEREAS, although early records are unclear, Norma
may have worked for the District longer than any living person,
and
WHEREAS, Norma's service to the District might have
gone on interminably were it not for the activities of her
husband, and
WHEREAS, Norma has taken her displacement from her
job like a woman, scarcely raising liberationist objections
thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the
Midpeninsula Regional Park District does resolve to express
its appreciation to Norma Grench for her faithful and dedicated
service= to the Midpeninsula Regional Park District and conveys
its best wishes for her success and happiness in her new
retirement.
