The warning was issued to a residential property for a fence which is in disrepair. Criminal Investigations Comments: Bal Harbour Detectives assisted Miami -Dade Police with an investigation of a deceased male at the Kenilworth condominiums. Preliminary investigations revealed the male had a medical incident and expired on scene. Miami - Dade Police will continue the investigation. Additionally, detectives located and arrested a wanted perpetrator in an active grand theft investigation. Noteworthy Incidents / Arrests Disabled Vessel 10200 Oceanside COMMENTS: Bal Harbour officers were summoned to the Bal Harbour beach regarding a disabled vessel drifting ashore. The operator of the vessel advised the officers the engines failed and he was waiting on the towing service. The vessel was subsequently towed from the area. No injuries or damage were reported. 10/01/2018 Deceased Person Location; Kenilworth / 10205 Collins Avenue COMMENTS: Bal Harbour officers were summoned to the Kenilworth condominiums regarding a deceased male. Building security told officers they received a call from a relative requesting someone check on the victim's well-being. Kenilworth Security personnel discovered the decedent inside the residence and immediately called the police. Bal Harbour and Miami -Dade detectives did not suspect any foul play. Preliminary investigation revealed the deceased had a medical incident and expired. Miami- Dade police will continue the investigation. 10/02/2018 Suspicious Person 200 Bal Bay Drive, Bal Harbour Marina COMMENTS: Bal Harbour officers responded to the marina regarding a suspicious person on the property. Officers identified a male that had been spear fishing in the yacht basin. The male told officers he did not live here and just walked through the main entrance and was unaware the marina was private property. A routine history check did not reveal an adverse criminal history. The male was issued a trespass warning and escorted out of the residential community. 3 BAL HARBOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT Raleigh Flowers, Jr. Chief of Police Weekly Summary Report Date 10/03/2018 Traffic Arrest 10400 Block of Collins Avenue COMMENTS: While patrolling the Collins Avenue corridor, a Bal Harbour officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that committed a traffic stop. When the officer requested the motorist to produce his drivers' license, the motorist told the officer he never had a drivers' license. A routine history check confirmed the motorist was operating a vehicle without a license. The motorist was arrested and issued multiple traffic citations.
