A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RICHMOND TO RECEIVE A
DONATION OF A FOUNTAIN AT GLEN MILLER PARK
WHEREAS, The City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting donations for a
specific purpose; and
WHEREAS, The acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the appropriation of such
property for the intended purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the following shall be accepted and gratefully acknowledged by the citizens of Richmond:
From a donor who wishes to remain anonymous, the donation of a fountain for Glen Miller Lake
including installation costs, totaling the amount of Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-six
Dollars and Twenty-four Cents ($15,666.24) to the City of Richmond Parks Department.
