ORDINANCE No. 72 -357
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
EXTENDING INTERIM ORDINANCE No. 72 -344
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN
SECTION 1. Pursuant to provisions of Section 65858 of the
Government Code of the State of California, and following a
public .hearing held with respect thereto in the manner provided
by law, Ordinance No. 72 -344, relating to an interim ordinance
imposing a moratorium on building and occupancy permits in the
area easterly of Rosemead Boulevard, south of Elm Avenue, to
Sultana on the east, to alley south of Las Tunas, and along rear
property lines of commercial properties fronting on Rosemead
Boulevard, to Broadway, is hereby extended from its present
expiration date to and including the 15th day of February, 1973.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall
certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance as an
urgency ordinance and to its approval by the Mayor, and shall
cause the same to be published in the Temple City Times, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated
in the City of Temple City.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1972.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance, being
Ordinance No. 72 -357, was introduced as an urgency ordinance
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple
City, held on the 20th day of June, 1972, and was duly passed,
approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by the
Mayor and attested by the City Clerk, by the following vote of
the Council:
AYES: Councilmen - Dennis, Gilbertson, Tyrell, Briggs
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen- Merritt
