Gonzalez, Village Manager Date: November 9, 2018 Subject: General Compliment - Chief Flowers, Director Oldenburg, and Village Staff The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to transmit to you a positive public commentary received from Miami -Dade County Commissioner Sally Heyman regarding the Spay/Neuter for Cats event held in Bal Harbour on Sunday, October 14, 2018. This unsolicited public commentary from our County elected official serves as a testament to our administration's commitment to high -quality resident services and an example of cross -departmental cooperation in hosting effective events. Their efforts as part of the team, helped to provide a safe and efficient work environment for our Spay/Neuter for Cats on October 14, 2018. As a result, this partnership effort resulted in a total of 26 cats being spayed/neutered, which will help reduce the overpopulation of cats in Miami -Dade County. I am delighted to work with people who take to heart a "can do" attitude in conducting their jobs. It truly makes a difference.
