RE: Park Ordinance
COPY TO: File, Mayor Waltermann
Dean Bostrom and the Park Board asked that this ordinance be drafted to clean up some language
in the current chapter of the code governing City parks. In a number of placesthe term "and
Recreation" is added to the term "Department of Parks." Two sections, 95.16 and 95.23, were
condensed to remove what the Park Board felt was excess verbiage, and substitute plain English.
Sally Hutton is the sponsor of the ordinance.
