Criminal Investigations
Comments:
The Criminal Investigations Division coordinated a crime prevention initiative with security personnel at the Harbour
House to obtain three parking permits for the police department. The parking permits are now readily available to

garage.
Additionally, the Criminal Investigations Division began implementation of a networking initiative with retailers at the
Bal Harbour Shops. Det. Hector Gonzalez and Lt. Carlos Arango visited each store in the shops to explain the
initiative and encourage their participation. The goal is to establish verified points -of -contact with each store and
develop a process of two-way communications between retailers and the police department.
