HomeMy Public PortalAbout022-1991 - ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND SAPPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO, 22-1991 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporaion the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated. AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND 4000-Capital Outlays $ 250,000. $250,000. SECTION 2. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the purposes specified. Said sum being subject to the laws governing the same. AMOUNT APPROPRIATED UNANTICIPATED FUNDS $ 250,000. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. I request that $250,000 be appropriated from the budget fund balance in the Local Road and Streets Budget, to right-of-way acquisition. The following business was had to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented Proof of Publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the date of May 10, 1991 day that a public hearing would be held on the 20th day of May, 1991 by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the year 1991 within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The Proof of Publication was examined and found to be in order. Counclimember Morris moved the Proof of Publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilmember McBride and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Cleric read on second reading Ordinance No. 22 -1991. President Hutton announced Ordinance No. 22-1991 was on public hearing. After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 22 -1991 was placed on final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Elstro, Lundy, Brookbank, Hankinson, McBride, Parker, Morris, Paust and Hutton (9) Nays: None Absent: None The vote being 9 to o in favor of the passage of Ordinance No. 22 -1991 .
