A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION OF UP TO TWO CITY-
SPONSORED CAMPING TRIPS AND APPROPRIATING A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $30,000 TO SUPPORT THE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood wishes to develop and execute city-sponsored
camping trips for resident youth and community to enjoy; and
WHEREAS, City of Commerce officials have invited the City of Lynwood to
organize a trip to its city-owned "Camp Commerce" located in Lake Arrowhead, California;
and
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council for the City of Lynwood finds and declares that the
forgoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates said recitals
fully into this Resolution as substantive findings.
Section 2. The City Council further finds that this request and project serves the
important public purpose of encouraging healthy living and providing
opportunities for the creation of a healthy and active community.
Section 3. The City Council further authorizes the City Manager to direct staff to
complete the program as presented.
Section 4. That the City Council approves the following appropriation:
