ORDINANCE NO. 72-363
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
CORRECTING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTIES,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN:
SECTION 1, The City Council finds and determines that
the zone changes hereinafter set forth were initiated by the
owners of the properties proposed to be rezoned and have
been processed in the manner and means set forth by State
law and City ordinances and the City Council has duly
considered the recommendations and reports of the Planning
Commission set forth in Resolution 72 -473 PC and in concurrence
with said recommendations, said zone changes are hereby deemed
to be in the public interest and welfare for the following
reasons:
(1) The sizes and shapes of the properties are
adequate for R -4 development;
(2) The proposed change of zone is compatible
with the General Plan of the City.
SECTION 2. The following described property is hereby
rezoned from R -1 to R -4 and the Zoning Map of the City
corrected accordingly_:
6247, 6251 and 6257 North Rosemead Boulevard and 8916
and 8922 East Longden Avenue, located within the City
of Temple City and more particularly described as
follows:
Parcel 21, Portion of Lot 85, Parcels 22 and 23,
Portion of Lot 86, and Parcels 4 and 5, Lot 60,
Tract No. 5904, Book 69, Page 29 of Maps in the
Office of the. County Recorder, County of Los
Angeles, State of California,
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall cerfity to the adoption
of this Ordinance and to its approval by the Mayor and shall
cause the same to be published in the Temple City Times, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Temple City.

being Ordinance Noe /2 -363 , was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City, held
on the 19th day of December , 1972, and was duly
passed, approved and adopted by sa: Council, approved and
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a
regular meeting of the said City Council held on the 2nd
day of January , 1973, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Dennis, Merritt, Tyrell, Briggs
NOES: Councilmen -None
