HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution - 73-03- 19730130 - Policy for Public RecordRESOLUTION NO. 73-3 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLICY FOR THE DUPLICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF AGENDAS, SUPPORTING MATERIALS, AND OTHER PUBLIC RECORDS OF THE DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the Rules of Procedure of the Midpeninsula Regional Park District call for the establishment of policies for the duplication and dissemination of agendas, supporting materials, and other public records of the district, NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT does resolve that the"policy for the duplication and dissemination of agendas, supporting materials, and other public records of the district" affixed hereto and by reference made a part hereof is adopted. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional Park District on thereof, by the following vote : AYES, and in favor thereof: Directors: NOES: none ABSENT: none ATTEST: S re-t Vice-President January 30 , 1973, at a regular meeting Daniel Wendin Nonette Hanko Katherine Duffy Daniel Condron William Peters President - Board of Directors k POLICY FOR THE DUPLICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF AGENDAS, SUPPORTING MATERIALS, AND OTHER RECORDS OF THE DISTRICT. 1. Agendas. Agendas will be available with no charge upon request to public agencies, newspapers in the district, and members of the public at the district office, 270 Grant Avenue, Palo Alto, room 360 by 9:00 A. M. Monday preceding the regular meeting. Agendas of special meetings will be available at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. Agendas will be posted on the door of the district office. The following charge will be applicable for public subscription... $5.00 a year. 2. Supporting materials. ( reports, resolutions, etc. ) All available supporting materials may be obtained upon request by public agencies, newspapers in the district, and members of the public at the district office, 270 Grant Avenue, Palo Alto, room 360 by 9:00 A.M. Monday preceding the regular meeting, and 24 hours before a special meeting. The following charges will be applicable : : public agencies, newspapers, members of the public... no charge if available, otherwise cost of reproduction. 3. Minutes. Minutes of meetings shall be available with no charge upon request to public agencies, newspapers in the district, and members of the public at the district office, 270 Grant Avenue, Palo Alto, room 360 by 9:00 A.M. Monday following the meeting. The following charge will be applicable for public subscription... $5.00 a year. 4. Information Packets. A packet containing the agenda and all available supporting materials shall be prepared by the secretary for each newspaper in the district which so requests. Such packets shall be available by 9:00 A. M. Monday preceding the regular meeting,. and 24 hours prior to a special meeting. * 5. Public records. All public records of the district shall be open to public inspection during district office hours, Monday 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and Thursdayf; 1:00 P.M. to 5:00P,: M. , holidays excepted.
