Dear Jan,
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. Chantel Morton left me a message on
Friday regarding the current open seat for the Historic Preservation Committee on
Tybee. Chantel suggested I apply for the position based on my interest and experience
in Interior Design, renovation and love for preserving and enhancing historic properties.
As of June, my husband and I are now full-time residents of Tybee. YAY!! Although we
have been visiting for 15 plus years, we are so excited and grateful to live on such an
incredible island.
For the past 25 years, I have been practicing interior design while always knowing my
true passion and gift has been coastal inspired design and renovation of historic
properties.
Growing up in a Southern beach town instilled my love for preservation and vintage
design. The importance of restoring and saving properties is something I believe in very
strongly. Bringing out the "soul of the home" is what true and meaningful design is to
me.
Attached is my resume for your review.
Thank you,
Susan
Make it a great day!
SUSAN
