HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD 62/128ORDINANCE 110. /* 2— 0 AN ORDINANCE DECLARING INTENTION TO ANNEX LANDS OF ETHEL P. PERKINS, HELEN VENINO, CONSUMER'S IMPORT CO., INC., JOHN B. AND GWENDOLYN JEAN WOLFORTH AND KATIA DI MARCO, TO THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM. WHEREAS, Ethel P. Perkins, Helen Venino, Consumer's Import Co., Inc., John B. and Gwendolyn Jean Wolforth and Katia DiMarco have by written instrument requested that their properties, lying and being in Palm Beach County, Florida, and within the boundaries of land described as follows: The West 110 feet of the South 300 feet of the North 2219 feet of Government Lot 2, Section 34, Township 45 South, Range 43 East (the West 10 feet thereof being a county road), be annexed to the Town; and WHEREAS, said land is contiguous to the town limits and contains less than ten registered voters, and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes 1961, permits annexation of contiguous terri- tory; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Town of Gulf Stream does hereby declare its intention to annex the aforedescribed land to the Town of Gulf Stream at the expiration of thirty days from the final passage of this ordinance. 2. =after final passage, this ordinance shall be published in full, once a week for four consecutive weeks, in Delray Beach News, a newspaper published in Palm Beach County, Florida (there being no newspaper published in the Town of Gulf Stream). 3. If no objection is filed and notice served as required by said Section 171.04, an ordinance will be considered M to annex said land to the Town of Gulf Stream and to redefine the boundary lines of the town so as to include therein the said land.
