SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS-
MEETING OF AUGUST 13,2014
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Co mmission ) actions from their meeting of August 13, 2014 .
BACKGROUND:
On August 13 , 2014 , the Commission held the ir reg ularly scheduled meeting .
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the August 13 , 2014 meeting :
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Comm iss ioner -Clift , Nimri , Stratis , Vice-Chairman Haddad ,
Chairman Redmond
Absent: Commiss ioner-None
Excused : Commiss ioner-None
2 . APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Commission approved the minutes of their July 23 , 2014 meeting .

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held two hearings in person , and upheld the citations .
The Commission rev iewed three hearings requested by written declaration , upheld
two citations , and dismissed one .
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file this report .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2014-15 City Budget.
