AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE 200 BLOCK OF SOUTH WEST E STREET AS A
RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT AREA AND AUTHORIZING THE CONDITIONAL
ISSUANCE OF PARKING PERMITS TO THE RESIDENTS OF SUCH AREA
WHEREAS, the Common Council of Richmond, Indiana has established a procedure for the
designation of residential parking permits areas known as Amended Ordinance No.
47-1984; and,
WHEREAS, the procedure contained in such ordinance has been carried out and a report
submitted to the Common Council by the Board of Public Works and Safety
pursuant to such procedure; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council of Richmond, Indiana finds that the designation of the 200
Block of South West E Street satisfies the criteria of Amended Ordinance No. 47-
1984 and would serve the interests enumerated therein.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the portion of South West E Street located in the 200 Block is hereby
designated a residential parking permit area within the purview of Amended
Ordinance No. 47-1984; and the issuance of parking permits to residents of such
area is hereby authorized subject to the conditions of Amended Ordinance No. 47-
1984.
