AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE 500 BLOCK OF SOUTH WEST 3RD STREET AS A
RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT AREA AND AUTHORIZING THE CONDITIONAL
ISSUANCE OF PARKING PERMITS TO THE RESIDENTS OF SUCH AREA
WHEREAS, the Common Council of Richmond, Indiana has established a procedure for the
designation of residential parking permits areas known as Amended Ordinance No.
47-1984; and,
WHEREAS, the procedure contained in such ordinance has been carried out and a report
submitted to the Common Council by the Board of Public Works and Safety
pursuant to such procedure; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council of Richmond, Indiana finds that the designation of the 500
Block of South West 3rd Street satisfies the criteria of Amended Ordinance No.
47-1984 and would serve the interests enumerated therein.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the portion of South West 3rd Street located in the 500 Block is
hereby designated a residential parking permit area within the purview of
Amended Ordinance No. 47-1984; and the issuance of parking permits to residents
of such area is hereby authorized subject to the conditions of Amended Ordinance
No. 47-1984.

Indiana will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 4, 1990 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council
Chambers in the Richmond Municipal Building located at 50 North 5th Street, on the
