The work is windows ($4,700) and siding (2,500). Before the permit can be issued, please complete and submit pages 1 and 2 of the attached form and submit with a copy of your local business license, and state license if you have one. The registration fee is $20. Once we have your paperwork the permit will be entered. On the $7,200 cost of construction with work occurring without a permit, the fee is $456. The owner has told us that you will be paying the permit fee. With the $20 contractor registration fee, the total amount due is $476. Payment can be by credit card on the phone if you want or you can come to City Hall and we'll process all of this at one time. For future reference, attached is a handout that includes information about the types of projects that require permits. Please contact us before beginning a job if you have any questions.
