MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC 1991 BUDGET HEARING HELD
DECEMBER 4, 1990 at 7:00 P.M.

MAYOR GIECK PRESIDED
1991 Patricia J. Lesh, Budget Officer submitted a proposed
BUDGET budget for review. The proposed budget was submitted
DRAFT to the governing body at the proper time. Due and
SUBMITTED proper notice was published in accordance with the Law,
said proposed budget was open for inspection by the
public at the Office of the Clerk until 7:00 p.m. ,
December 4. A public hearing was held this evening,
and interested taxpayers were given the opportunity
to file or register any objections to said proposed
budget. Whatever increases may have been made in the
expenditures, like increases were added to the revenues
so that the budget remains in balance as required by
Law.
Estimated expenditures for each fund are as follows:
GENERAL FUND $287,460
WATERWORKS FUND 158,860
SEWER FUND 64,970
CONSERVATION TRUST FUND 4,500
STORM DRAINAGE FUND -0-
CEMETERY TRUST FUND 2,500
LIBRARY FUND 32,816

RESOLUTION A resolution appropriating sums of money to the various
NO. 10-90 funds and spending agencies in the amounts and for the
purposes set forth, for the Town of Ault, for the 1991
Budget, was read by the Clerk. MOTION WAS MADE BY
TRUSTEE MARSH, to adopt resolution No. 10-90.

RESOLUTION A resolution levying general property taxes for the year NO.9-90 1991 , to help defray the cost of government for the Town
of Ault, Colorado for the 1991 budget year, was read by
the Clerk. MOTION WAS MADE BY TRUSTEE RAU, to adopt
Resolution No.9-90, Levying a tax of 10.496 mills upon
each dollar of the total valuation for assessment of
all taxable property within the Town for the year 1991 .

CERTIFICATION MOTION WAS MADE BY TRUSTEE HOVEL, to certify the total
OF TAX LEVIES Levy of 10.496 mills to be extended upon the total
assessed valuation of $3,982,060 to produce $41 ,796
in revenue.
There being no further business to come before the Board
at this time, the Public Hearing adjourned at 7:55 p.m.

111 RESOLUTION TO ADOPT BUDGET
A RESOLUTION SUMMARIZING EXPENDITURES AND REVENUES FOR EACH FUND AND ADOPTING
A BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF AULT, COLORADO, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST
DAY OF JANUARY, 1991 , AND ENDING ON THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER, 1991.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Ault has appointed Patricia J.
Lesh, Town Clerk/Treasurer to prepare and submit a proposed budget to said
governing body at the proper time, and;
WHEREAS, upon due and proper notice, published in accordance with the law,
said proposed budget was open for inspection by the public at a designated place,
a public hearing was held on December 4, 1990, and interested taxpayers were given
the opportunity to file or register any objections to said proposed budget, and;
WHEREAS, whatever increases may have been made in the expenditures, like
increases were added to the revenues so that the budget remains in balance, as
required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Board of Trustees of the Town of Ault,

TOWN OF AULT, COLORADO
RESOULTION TO SET MILL LEVIES
A RESOLUTION LEVYING GENERAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1991 , TO HELP DEFRAY
THE COSTS OF GOVERNMENT FOR THE TOWN OF AULT, COLORADO FOR THE 1991 BUDGET
YEAR.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Ault must certify their mill
levy to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County by December 15,
1990 for the 1991 budget year, and;
WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance for general operating
expenses is $41 ,750. , and;
WHEREAS, the 1991 valuation for assessment for the Town of Ault, as certified
by the Division of Local Government is $3,982,060.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF AULT,
COLORADO:
Section 1 . That for the purpose of meeting all general operating expenses
of the Town of Ault during the 1991 budget year, there is hereby levied a
tax of 10.496 mills upon each dollar of the total valuation for assessment
of all taxable property within the Town for the year 1991 .
Section 2. That the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
immediately certify to the County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
the mill levies for the Town of Ault as hereinabove determined and set.

A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING SUMS OF MONEY TO THE VARIOUS FUNDS AND
AGENCIES, IN THE AMOUNTS AND FOR THE PURPOSES AS SET FORTH BELOW, FORNTIEG
