A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND THE MANAGEMENT
AND GENERAL EMPLOYEES' SALARY SCHEDULES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted an Employee
Classification and Position Plan and on occasion amends the plan as needed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted a salary
resolution with salary schedules for Management and General Employees'; and
WHEREAS, the required classification analysis has been completed and a
classification statement has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department conducted a salary survey using
the ten benchmark cities as agreed to by LEA; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department has met and conferred with the
LEA over the creation of the classification; and
WHEREAS, the Employee Classification and Position Plan requires an
amendment to comply with Article 2 of the Lynwood Employees' Management Group
MOU; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amend the Employee Classification Plan and the Employees'
Salary Schedule to include the new classification as follows:
CIVIL SERVICES EMPLOYEES — Leads & General Staff

Asst. Administrative Analyst N/A G-43
Section 2. Amend the Employee Classification Plan and the Management and
At-Will Employees' Salary Schedule to correct the bargaining unit designations as
follows:

Section 3. That the modifications so ordered by this resolution shall become
effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood at a regular meeting held on the 5th day of November, 2019.
