ORDINANCE NO. 1,32-
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING LANDS OF ASHBOURNE REALTY AND LAND
DEVELOPMENT COTZPANY, PAUL S. AND JOSEPHINE P. KNOWLES,
ESTATE OF J. GORDON KING, JANE D. KING, EXECUTRIX,
JOHN W. AND ALTA L. ELLIOTT, AND ALFRED A. AND TURTLE A.
STICKLER, TO THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM AND REDEFINING THE
BOUNDARIES OF SAID TOWN SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN THE SAID
LANDS.
WHEREAS, the Town of Gulf Stream has adopted an
ordinance declaring its intention to annex the lands of Ashbourne
Realty and Land Development Company, Paul S. and Josephine P.
Knowles, Estate of J. Gordon King, Jane D. King, Executrix,
John W. and Alta L. Elliott, and Alfred A. and Myrtle A. Stickler
to the Town, said lands being described as follows, to -wit:

BEGIN at the Southwest corner of Lot C of REVISED PLAT
BLOCK D and BLOCK E, PA1211 BEACH SHORE ACRES, as recorded
in Plat Boob: 7, at page 38, Public Records of Palm Beach
County, Florida; thence in a Southerly direction along
the West Right -of -Way Line of Andrews Avenue, as now
constructed and in use a distance of 89.40 feet; thence
westerly and parallel to the Westerly extension of the
South line of said Lot C a distance of 133.00 feet; thence
in a Southerly direction and parallel to the West Right -of-
Way line of Andrews Avenue a distance of 81 feet; thence
in a Westerly direction parallel to and 170.5 feet South of
the Westerly extension of the said South line of Lot C, a
distance of 880.0 feet more or less to the centerline of
the Intracoastal Waterway, as now constructed and in use;
thence in a Northerly direction along the said center line
a distance of 172 feet more or less to the intersection of
the Westerly extension of the South line of Lot C; thence
in an Easterly direction along said Westerly extension of
the South line of Lot C, a distance of 988.0 feet more or
less to the Southwest corner of said Lot C;
WHEREAS, said land is contiguous to the town limits and
contains less than ten registered electors, and Section 171.04,
Florida Statutes 1961, permits annexation of such contiguous
territory; and
WHEREAS, the ordinance declaring intention of the Town
to annex such lands to the Town has been duly published once a
week for four consecutive weeks in Delray Beach News, a newspaper
published in Palm Beach County, there being no newspaper published
in the Town of Gulf Stream; and
WHEREAS, there have been no tenable objections to such

annexation;
NOW, TBEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE TOWN COMMISSION
OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. The aforedescribed lands of Ashbourne Realty and
Land Development Company, Paul S. and Josephine P. Knowles,
Estate of J. Gordon King, Jane D. King, Executrix, John W. and
Alta L. Elliott, and Alfred A. and Myrtle A. Stickler are hereby
annexed to and included in the town limits of the Town of Gulf
Stream. Said lands will be subject to town taxes for the year
1962 and are hereby zoned "Residential A."
2. The boundaries of the Town of Gulf Stream as
heretofore defined are hereby redefined and extended so as to
include said lands in the town limits.
