ORDINANCE NO. 73 -375
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
ADDING NEW PARAGRAPH 21A, TO SUBSECTION A
OF SECTION 9390 AND NEW PARAGRAPHS 32A
.AND 39A. TO SUBSECTION A OF SECTION 9399.1
OF THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO PERMITTED USES IN THE C -1 AND C -2 ZONES
OF THE CITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City
does hereby find, determine and declare:
(a) That the public interest and welfare require
that the hereinafter specified uses be classified as
expressly permitted uses within certain zones of the
City; and
(b) That the Temple City Zoning Code does not
present so provide; and
(c) That the public interest, convenience and
necessity require the amendment of the Temple City
Municipal Code in the _manner_hereinafter set forth.
SECTION 2. New Paragraph 21A is hereby added. to
Subsection Aof Section 9390 of the Temple City Municipal Code,
to read as follows:
"21A. Furniture repair and upholstery."
SECTION .3. New Paragraph 32A is hereby added to
Subsection A of Section 9399.1 of the Temple City Municipal Code,
to read as follows:
"32A. .Rugs and carpets, except cleaning thereof."
SECTION 4. New Paragraph 39A is hereby added to
Subsection .A of Section 9399.1 of the Temple City Municipal Code,
to read as follows:
"39A. Upholstery fabrics and supplies."
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause
she same to be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the
City of Temple City.

City, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being
Ordinance No.. 73-375 , was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Temple City, held on the 3rd day of
July , 1973, and was duly passed, approved and
adopted by said Council, approved and signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting of the said City
Council held on the 17th day of July , 1973, by the
following vote:
AYES: 'Councilmen - Briggs, Dennis, Gilbertson, Merritt, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen -None
