RE:
Curfew Ordinance Amendment
COPY TO.
File, Mayor Waltermann
Annie Planck was recently checking the Curfew Ordinance to see when she was permitted on the
streets. She noticed an inconsistency in the ordinance. The ordinance prohibits children 15, 16,
or 17 years of age to be out after 1:00 a.m, on Saturday or Sunday. The next paragraph prohibits
children from being out after 11:00 p.m. on weekdays, including Friday. One O'clock a.m.
Saturday and 11:00 p.m. Friday are the same evening. Therefore, the amendment eliminates the
word "Friday" to resolve this inconsistency.
