Minutes of the Strategic Planning Meeting of the Village President and the Board of Trustees
Held on October 3, 2015
at Public Works
Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in the Boardroom. Present were: Mayor
Collins, Trustee Bonuchi, Trustee Lamb, Trustee Racich, Trustee O'Rourke, and Trustee Wojowski.
Board absent: Trustee Peck. Others present: Lewis G. Bender, Facilitator; Brian Murphy,
Administrator; Traci Pleckham, Management Services Director; Michael Garrigan, Planning
Supervisor; Ken Goska, Interim Building Supervisor; Allen Persons, Public Works Director; Doug
Kissel, Wastewater Superintendent; Randy Jessen, Public Improvements Superintendent; and
Anthony Novak, Police Commander. There was one person in the audience.

None
STRATEGIC PLANNING DISCUSSION
The Board and staff completed a strategic style inventory exercise. Staff presented and reviewed an
update to the Action Items of the 2018 Strategic Plan.
The attendees were then broken into two groups to review the goals and objectives, and tasks. There
was general consensus that it is time to once again have a community meeting, preferably in Spring
2016.
Mayor Collins thanked everyone for the discussion.
On a motion from Trustee Lamb and seconded by Trustee Bonuchi, the meeting adjourned at
12:20 p.m.
