HomeMy Public PortalAbout095-1990- TRANSFER WITHIN THE GENERAL FUNDTRANSFER ORDINANCE NO. 95-1990 AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, It has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money within the fund appropriated in the annual budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana; SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: GENERAL FUND -Mayor's Office 3000-Other Services & Charges AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED $ 2,000. $ 2,000. SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts. AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED GENERAL FUND -Mayor's Office 1000-Personal Services $ 2,000. $ 2,000. SECTION 3. (Major Budget Classification) To 3000 -Other Services & Charges (Major Budget Classification) Within GENERAL FUND - MAYOR'S OFFICE (Department, Office or Fund) and that such transfer does not necessitate expenditures of more money than was set cut in detail in the budget as finally approved by the State Board of Tax Commissioners. INDIANA The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City on December 3, 1990 at the hour of 7:30 P.M. Councilmember Brookbank presided with the following members present: Councilmembers: Elstro, Lundy, Hankinson, McBride, Parker, Hutton, and Morris. Absent: Paust. The following business was had to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented Proof of Publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the date of the day of , 1990 that a public hearing would be held on the day of , 1990 by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the year 1990 within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The Proof of Publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilmember moved the Proof of Publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilmember and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 95 -1990. President Brookbank announced Ordinance No. 95-1990 was on public hearing. After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 95 -1990 was placed on final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Elstro, Lundy, Hankinson, McBride, Parker, Hutton, Morris, and Brookbank (8) Nays: None Absent: Paust The vote being 8 to 0 in favor of the passage of Ordinance No. 95 -1990 (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed the meeting was adjourned.
