A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO,
ADOPTING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR PLANNING AND ZONING RELATED
MATTERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, McCall City Code 3.15.03.J provides that a fee schedule for planning and
zoning related matters be established periodically by City Council; and
WHEREAS, McCall City Code 3.4.061.B provides an option for development within the
Central Business District (CBD) to fulfill off street parking space requirements by
contributing an amount specified by resolution of the council for each required space to
the city's parking lot trust fund; and
WHEREAS, the City of McCall has not collected any fees for CBD parking spaces
omitted since the adoption of Resolution 08-22; and
WHEREAS, The City of McCall Downtown Parking Study & Needs Assessment Final
Report suggests reducing commercial parking requirements as an approach to promote
infill and downtown development; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is in the best interest of the owners
of property and of the inhabitants within the City to reduce the CBD parking space in -lieu
fee from $20,000 to $7,500 per space omitted and create new fees as set forth below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MCCALL, Valley County, Idaho that:
Section l: The following rates and fees are hereby adopted as the fees for planning
and zoning applications and matters. Fees are payable prior to City taking action on the
application in question:
