AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY.
ADDING NEW PART XIIIA TO ARTICLE: IX OF THE
TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, ESTABLISHING AN
OPEN SPACE (0 -S) ZONE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City
does hereby find, determine and declare:
(a) Section 65910..of the, Government Code
of the. State . of Ca.liforn.ia requires every city
subject . to the .provisions of Chapter. 4 of Title 7
of the ,Government . Code. to prepare and adopt an
open-space .zoning ordinance consistent with the,
city's local open-space plan;
(b) The City of Temple City has not as yet
adopted such an ordinance; and
.(c)...,.The_pub ic ;interest, convenience and
necessity require the amendment of the Temple
City ....Zoning .Code in the manner hereinafter set.

SECTION 2. New Part XIIIA is hereby added to Article IX

the local. Open Space Plan of the General Plan of the
City of. Temple City heretofore adopted by the City
Council.....
9431. .Uses. Permitted. The following uses shall

uses, provided that no dwellings, either temporary
or permanent, be permitted in relation thereto,
nor any on- premise sales or advertising.
9432. Conditional Uses. The following public and
private._.us.e.s..:may..be.. permitted only if the location and
development are approved by the .C.ity as a conditional
use pursuant to the requirements of Section 9203, et
seq., hereof:

grounds, settling basins, freeways, and
parkways.
2. Water wells, reservoirs, tanks, dams,
treatment plants, gauging .:stations .,....pumping

1. Lot area. No limitation.
2. Lot dimension. No requirements.
3. Yards. No requirements.
4. Population density. . No dwellings permitted
in .this ....zone.

In no case shall building coverage exceed ten per-

SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage ... and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval."by the Mayor and -shall cause the same
to be published in the. Temple City Times; a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in
the City of Temple City.
