AUTHORIZING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH MASER
CONSULTING - ARTHUR KILL WATERFRONT RECREATION
FACILITY
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional
engineering services in connection with the Arthur Kill Waterfront
Recreation Facility/Waterfront Park, Phase I; and
WHEREAS, Maser Consulting, P.A. has submitted a proposal to provide
certain professional engineering support services during the construction of
the above-referenced project for a total lump sum fee of $7,600.00 for the
referenced services; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer, Donald J. Norbut, has reviewed said
proposal and has recommended the award of a contract to Maser Consulting,
P.A. based upon said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Chief Financial Officer has certified that
funds are or will be available for said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and Council and Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That the attached proposal from Maser Consulting, P.A.
for professional engineering services during the
construction of the Waterfront Park, Phase I Project is
hereby approved in the amount of $7,600.00.
2. That this award is made without competitive bids as a
professional services contract.
3. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the
Borough's Purchasing Department, T&M Associates,
and Maser
Consulting, P.A.
Adopted this 18thday of July, 2002
and certified as a true copy
of the original on July 19, 2002.
