Temple City High School New 2-Story Classroom Building
• The Interim Housing Project is complete. Edison has completed their work and the
buildings are now on permanent power.
• The Phase 0 (Central Plant & Demolition) Project is complete.
• The new 2-story Classroom Building project is currently being reviewed by DSA.
Approval is expected by January 2015 and work to commence immediately
following. The completion of the building is scheduled for fall of 2016. Dates are
contingent on the date of DSA approval.
Cloverly Elementary School Modernization Project
• The drawings have been submitted to DSA and approval is expected by October
2014 at which time the project will be publicly bid. Completion is scheduled for fall
of 2015. Dates are contingent on the date of DSA approval.
• TELACU continues preparing the bid packages and will be completing the
constructability review once the DSA submittal sets have been completed.
• The interim housing project will be publicly advertised for bidding starting October
06, 2014 with a bid date of October 30, 2014.
La Rosa Elementary School Modernization Project
• The drawings have been submitted to DSA and approval is expected by October
2014 at which time the project will be publicly bid. Completion is scheduled for fall
of 2015. Dates are contingent on the date of DSA approval.
• TELACU continues preparing the bid packages and will be completing the
constructability review once the DSA submittal sets have been completed.
• The interim housing project will be publicly advertised for bidding starting October

Longden Elementary School New Administration/Media Center & Modernization Project
• The Architect (LPA, Inc.) is continuing with the design process based on the input
and priorities received from the Site Committee.
• Approximately $2M has been saved from this project by reallocating spaces and
modernizing existing spaces rather than providing new construction.
• TELACU will schedule additional meetings with the Site Committee for additional
input.
Emperor Elementary School Modernization & Window Replacement Project
• Drawings are still being reviewed by DSA. The Architect has received comments
from DSA for Structural Safety. Access Compliance comments are still pending.
• The Architect has begun the investigation for the preliminary design development
stage of the Modernization Project.
• Both Modernization and window projects are expected to begin Summer 2015,
contingent on DSA approval.

Dr. Doug Sears Learning Center New Administration & Classroom Building Project
• Per correspondence from DSA, their review is in progress with Fire/Life Safety
comments still pending.
• Temporary Housing options have been finalized and the project will begin once DSA
approval has been received.
• TELACU has conducted a meeting with the site to review next steps which are;
administration moving to Classroom 2, hazardous materials abatement of the
existing building, grading, setting of the new buildings, utility connections, and final
hardscape work. This project is expected to be completed January 2015. Dates are
contingent on the date of DSA approval.
Proposition 39
• The Board of Education has approved to enter into an agreement with IEC
Corporation to begin the district-wide energy study and audit.
