Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Workshop of the President and the Board of Trustees
Held on October 26, 2015
In the Boardroom
Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present were: Mayor Collins Trustee Racich,
Trustee Wojowski, Trustee Bonuchi, Trustee Lamb, and Trustee O'Rourke. Board absent: Trustee
Peck. Others present: Brian Murphy, Village Administrator; Traci Pleckham, Management Services
Director; Allen Persons, Public Works Director; Michael Garrigan, Planning Supervisor; Ken Goska,
Interim Building Supervisor.
Trustee Lamb moved to approve the Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Workshop held on
October 12, 2015. Seconded by Trustee Bonuchi. Vote by roll call. Racich, yes; Wojowski, yes;
Bonuchi, yes; Lamb, yes; O'Rourke, yes; Peck, absent. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried.
PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS
Mayor Collins offered condolences to the family of Dr. James Waldorf.
TRUSTEES COMMENTS
Trustee Bonuchi commented on the Village of Screamfield and also commented on the Police
Explorers.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
None.
WORKSHOP
#1 2016-2017 DRAFT FISCAL YEAR BUDGET
Mr. Allen Persons reviewed the proposed budget for the Street Department. Mr. Persons reviewed
the Public Works Personnel and organization chart. Mr. Persons then reviewed vehicle maintenance,
fuel station operation, street light maintenance, street sign production and installation, landscaping
maintenance, street maintenance, technology, snow removal and ice control, and forestry program.
Trustee Racich left the meeting at 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Traci Pleckham reviewed the general fund expenditures for the Streets Division. Mrs. Pleckham
also reviewed revenues and expenditures for the Miscellaneous Funds including the Motor Fuel Tax
Fund, Bond& Interest Fund, Tort Immunity Fund, Audit Fund, Police Pension Fund, DARE Fund,
Tax Increment Financing Fund, and Alcohol Enforcement Fund.
Mayor Collins read the reminders.
Trustee Lamb moved to adjourn. Seconded by Trustee Bonuchi. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0
Opposed.
