SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF
91-14 COUNCIL HELD THIS EVENING AT 7:@0 P. M.

TRACTOR/LOADER Trustee Hovel reported on the
demonstration of a 1990 6245 Zetor
Tractor, Koyker Loader, New Twin Max
Blade from Zetor Tractor and Equipment.
The bid price was $24, 085 with a new
tractor existing warranty. Bids
prices were obtained from John Deere for
a comparable tractor, loader, without
blade. This price was $29, 258. Ellie
and Capp Equipment Co. bid $37, 598.
The blade would run approximately
$4, 090.
Trustee Hovel stated that the 1991
Budget allowed for the purchase of a
tractor. He invited the Board to look
at the tractor before the next regular
meeting.
CONCRETE WORK Mrs. Lorraine Pillar has been sent a
bill for removing 16 1. f. @$10. 00 per
l. f. and replacing rollover 16 l. f.
@$20. 00 per 1. f. for a total of S480. 00.
She is to make payment arrangements with
the Clerk to pay the $480. 00 interest
fr
ee if paid within a one year period.
If there is a remaining balance at
the end of a period of one year other
arrangements will be made.

PUBLIC HEARD Dr. J. T. Thompson brought up the fact
that a lot of money is being spent on
Port a lets. A permanent restroom in
the parks might be advantageous. The
business association would like the
Caboose to be designated a Visitors
Center. Specifications for requirements
can be obtained from the State Highway
Department. The Town had previously
received a bid for $34, 000 for a
permanent rest room, using stainless
steel.
There being no further business to come before the Board,
the meeting adjourned at 8: 10 p. m.
