AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM,
AMENDING THE 1952 ZONING ORDINANCE BY ALLOW-
ING PRIVATE GOLF COURSES AND BUILDINGS AND
USES ACCESSORY THERETO AS A PERMITTED USE
IN RESIDENCE DISTRICT "A"
WHEREAS, the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream,
sitting as a zoning commission, has recommended and reported to
the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream that the zoning
ordinance of the town be amended so as to allow private golf
courses and buildings and uses accessory thereto as a permitted
use in Residence District "A" and
WHEREAS, the Town Commission at a special meeting called
for the purpose of amending the zoning ordinance has been held
after having given at least twenty -one days notice of the time
and place of such hearing in the Palm Beach Post, a newspaper
having a general circulation in the Town of Gulf Stream, and by
posting on the official bulletin board of the Town Hall a copy of
said notice, and by giving written notice to owners of property,
as shown on the last town tax roll, within a radius of five hun-
dred (500) feet in all directions from the property which will be
affected by the proposed amendment, at least twenty -one days
before the special meeting, and all other requirements of Section
XII of the zoning ordinance of the town have been complied
with;
NOW1 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION
OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section III, Subdivision A of the Zoning
Ordinance of the Town of Gulf Stream of 1952, relating to uses
permitted in Residence District "A" is hereby amended by adding
a fourth use as follows:
4. Private golf courses and buildings and uses
accessory thereto, use or play on the golf course
to be restricted to daylight hours.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be

in force from and after its approval as required by law.
