Absent Meyer. Van Heiden moved to approve the minutes of the February regular meeting. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Buseman moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report for February. Van Heiden seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Werkman moved to approve the following bills for payment. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Lindsay Beving, Bob Valentine, Rich Fox, Warren Lindaman from Wellsburg Economic Development were present to discuss the sale of lots in the Riekena Subdivision. Also present were Sara Hook and Branden Lafrenz. The City Council will look into re-platting lots 15-20. Nathan Vogel presented the public works report. Discussion: 2015 street cleaning, seal coating and other street repairs. Mark Wiltfang presented the fire department report including repairs to the fire station, update on the new grass fire rig, use of the old fire station for storage and the sale of the old pickup truck. April Haupt presented information on the required ambulance reporting software. The City will need to purchase the software and tough books. Total cost the first year will be $2500.00. Software support will be $500.00 per year. Dan Blythe, Blythe Sanitation, presented new garbage contract information. There will be no increases in contracted rates. Buseman moved to approve contract renewal with Blythe Sanitation for garbage collection. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Mark Lamar, Baumeier Co., requested the release of retainage for the Sewer Relining and Replacement Project. Van Heiden moved to withhold the retainage due to the late completion of the project and the fact that the project was not completed as designed. Buseman second the motion. All ayes, carried. Don Moore, Ryken Engineering, presented updated information on the Sewer Upgrade Project. At 9:05 p.m. the Mayor declared this was the time and place for the FY 2016 Budget Hearing. Being there were no oral or written objections the Mayor closed the hearing at 9:10 p.m. Werkman moved to approve the Resolution 03-2015 a resolution approving the FY 2016 Budget as presented. Van Heiden seconded the motion. Roll call of votes. All ayes, carried. Van Heiden moved to approve liquor licenses for Meadowbrook Golf Course and Town House Supper Club. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Buseman moved to adjourn the meeting. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Wendy Lage, City Clerk
