Wesley Scott, Jr. to excavate soil and remove a contributing brick stoop from the west elevation to remediate a diesel oil leak at 221 West Margaret Lane (9864-95-1728). ITEM # 6: Application for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Orange County on behalf of Town of Hillsborough to construct a bus shelter with aluminum columns on the site of the existing bus stop and bench in the Churton Street right of way in front of 127 N. Churton Street (9874-06-3568). ITEM # 7: Application for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Emily Godrich on behalf of Bryan and Angel Boer to demolish a contributing wood frame 1950’s house, a 1970’s concrete block garage, and two non-contributing outbuildings at 234 Thomas Ruffin Street (9874-28-5054). ITEM # 8: Application for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Drees Homes on behalf of Elizabeth Walker to build a new 3055 square foot home with attached garage and rear screened porch at 312 Mitchell Street (9874-17-9943). ITEM # 9: Presentation of a landscaping plan by Meighan Carmichael to satisfy a previous condition of approval for a Certificate of Appropriateness at 119 N. Occoneechee Street (9864-76-6768). ITEM # 10: Updates ITEM # 11: Adjourn PUBLIC CHARGE The Hillsborough Historic District Commission pledges to the citizens of Hillsborough its respect. The HDC asks members of the public to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Commission members and with fellow citizens. At any time, should any member of the Commission or any citizen fail to observe this public charge, the Chair or his or her designee will ask the offending person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to be restored, the Chair or his or her designee will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine commitment to this public charge can be observed. Thank you.
