THE CITY OF BEL AIRE
ORDINANCE No. 20
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND INCORPORATING BY REFERENCE PURSUANT
TO KSA 12-3009 and 12-3012 AND KSA 12-3301 and 12-3302 THE STANDARD
TRAFFIC ORDINANCES FOR KANSAS CITIES, AS TRAFFIC CODE FOR BEL AIRE,
KANSAS.
Be It Ordained by the Governing Body of the City of Bel Aire:
SECTION 1.
STANDARD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE INCORPORATED. There is hereby incorporated
by reference for the purpose of regulating traffic upon highways and streets of the City
of Bel Aire, that certain standard traffic ordinance known as the "Standard Traffic
Ordinance for Kansas Cities," 1979 Edition, prepared and published in pamphlet form by
the League of Kansas Municipalities~ 112 West Seventh Street, Topeka, Kansas, 66603. Not
less than. three (3) copies of the standard ordinance shall be marked or stamped "Official
Copy as Incorporated by Reference by the Code of the City of Bel Aire", with all sections
or portions thereof intended to be ommitted if any, clearly marked to show any such
deletion or change and filed with the City Clerk to be open to inspection and available
to the public at all reasonable hours. The department, municipal judge and all adminis-
trative departments of the city charged with the enforcement of the ordinance shall be
supplied at the cost of the city, such number of official copies of such standard
ordinance similarly marked, as may be deemed expedient.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall take effect upon publication in the official
city publication.
