WHEREAS, On April 5, 2004, the City of Richmond, through Ordinance Number 11-2004, amended the Zoning Map which designated certain properties now commonly known as Reid Hospital, 1100 Reid Parkway, Richmond, Indiana, as a Commercial Planned Unit Development (formerly R-2 Residential and C-2 Commercial, currently designated as an IS Institutional District PUD) with certain restrictions as outlined on Ordinance 11-2004, which Ordinance is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and which locations are currently legally described as follows: Situated in Section 21, Township 14 North, Range 1 West, City of Richmond, Wayne Township, Wayne County, Indiana, being land conveyed to Reid Hospital & Health Care Services as the following parcels and being more particularly described as follows: Tract No. Legal Description Address Location 5. 44.385 acs. WHEREAS, Common Council, pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-4-1511, conducted a public hearing on said petition on C'�j , e7� , 2013, after publishing legal notice thereof at least 10 days in advance of said hearing as required by statute; and WHEREAS, The Richmond Advisory Plan Commission, pursuant to prior Richmond City Code 154.45.12, conducted a public hearing on said petition on April 25, 2013, after publishing legal notice thereof at least 10 days in advance of said hearings as required by ordinance. WHEREAS, It is desirable to amend the Planned Unit Development described above and subject to the restrictions set forth in Exhibit "A" in order to allow Reid Hospital and Health Care Services, Inc., the owner of Reid Hospital, to add a parking facility to the existing primary care facility to serve the existing hospital campus, as outlined in the attached Exhibit B, which amendment shall be a major amendment pursuant to prior Richmond City Code Chapter 154.45.12. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the Planned Unit Development located at 1100 Reid Parkway, Richmond, Indiana, commonly known as Reid Hospital, which Planned Unit Development was approved and subjected to certain restrictions under Ordinance 11-2004, as set forth in Exhibit "A", is amended to allow the owner, Reid Hospital and Health Care Services, Inc., to construct a parking facility adjacent to its existing primary care facility to serve the existing hospital campus, as set forth in Exhibit "B". ORDINANCE 11-2004 AN AMENDED SPECIAL ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT 2021 THROUGH 2307 CHESTER BOULEVARD WHEREAS the Zoning Map designates and describes these properties along Chester Boulevard, as a mixture of existing P.U.D.'s, which will be amended by this Ordinance, and R 2 Residential and C-2 Retail Commercial; and WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation to a Commercial P.U.D. District to allow the use of the property for a Community Health Care facility.
