AUTHORIZING CARTERET COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT TO REQUEST FUNDING FOR THE ROOSEVELT
AVENUE BUSINESS DISTRICT REVITALIZATION
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, Middlesex County seeks to revitalize the
downtown business areas as a means to increase their economic viability by
providing streetscape improvements; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret hereby authorizes the Director of Community Development to
seek funding form the Middlesex County Downtown and Business District
Improvement Fund that would facilitate the economic growth and revitalization of
the Roosevelt Avenue Business District.
Adopted this 15th day of August, 2002
and certified as a true copy of the
original on August 16, 2002.
