ORDINANCE NO, 75 -402
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
PROVIDING A CHANGE OF ZONE IN ZONE CHANGE
CASE NO, 75-436
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1, The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare as follows:
(a) That the owners of certain real property
located in the City of Temple City, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, located at 9613
through 9633 Broadway (north side) in said City,
more particularly described as:
Portion of Lot 34, Parcels 16 and 17, Mission
View Acres, Book 12, page 150, of Maps in the
Office of the County Recorder, County of Los
Angeles, State of California
have heretofore filed an application for a change of
zone from R -1 to R-2; and
(b) That the Planning Commission previously
approved such change; and
(c) That the City Council conducted a duly
noticed public hearing on such application, that said
hearing was duly closed; and
(d) That based upon the evidence adduced at said
hearing, the City Council files, environmental documents
and applicable staff reports, and each member of the City
Council being familiar with the proposed site, said City
Council determines that the zone change should be granted,
as applied for, for the following reasons:
1, That the proposed zone would serve as a
buffer between existing R-1 and R -3 development in
the area; and
2. That the proposed zone is compatible with
existing zoning and development in the vicinity; and
3, That the proposed zone is compatible with
the General Plan,
SECTION 2, The Zoning Code of the City of Temple City
is hereby amended to change the zone of the subject proper-
ties from R-1 to Rm2,
SECTION 3, The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same
to be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in
the City of Temple City,

nance, being Ordinance No. 75 -402 , was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple
City, held on the 6th day of May , 1975,
and was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council,
approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Clerk at a regular meeting of the said City Council held
on the 20th day of May , 1975, by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dennis ,Greenberg,Merritt,Tyrell, Gilbertson
NOES: Councilmen -None
