OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
RESOLUTION NO. 1 -2009
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BANNING INDIVIDUALS FROM PARK PROPERTY
WHEREAS, The Board of Parks and Recreation ( "Park Board ") is the governing agent for real
property owned by the Parks Department; and
WHEREAS, The Park Board feels it is in the best interest of the Parks Department to grant full
authority to the Richmond Police Department to write ban orders on any or all
individuals caught in an illegal act or acts which warrant an arrest while in or on
Park Department property at any time, day or night, in order to keep Park Property
safe and free from illegal or questionable activity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city of Richmond Board of Parks and Recreation that the
City of Richmond Police Department has full power and authority to ban individuals from Park Property in
the event the individuals are engaged in illegal conduct in or on park property.
THIS RESOLUTION IS ADOPTED THIS _28 DAY OF APRIL, 2009.
