ORDINANCE NO. 75 -404
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
PROVIDING A CHANGE OF ZONE IN ONE ZONE
CHANGE CASE NO. 75-441
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE, CITY DOES ORDItN:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare as follows:
(a) That the owners of certain real property
located in the City of Temple City, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, located at 9023 East
Broadway in said City, more particularly described
as:
Parcel 17, Portion of Lot 19, Sunny View
Tract, Book 13, page 156 of Maps in the
Office of the County Recorder, County of
Los Angeles, State of California
have heretofore filed an application for a change of
zone from R-3 to C -2; and
(b) The Planning Commission has heretofore by
its Resolution No. 75-628 P.C. recommended such
change.
(c) That the City Council conducted a duly
noticed public hearing on such application, that
said hearing was duly closed; and
(d) That based upon the evidence adduced at
said hearing, the Planning Commission files and
applicable staff reports, and each member of the
City Council being familiar with the proposed site,
said City Council determines that the zone change
should be granted, as applied for, for the following
reasons:
1. That the proposed has adequate access
and is otherwise suitable for commercial develop-
ment; and
2, That the proposed zone is compatible
with existing development in the vicinity; and
3, That the proposed zone is compatible
with the General Plan of the City,
SECTION 2, The Z ning Code of the City of Temple City
be amended to change the zone of the subject properties from
R -3 to C =2 for the reasons hereinabove set forth.
SECTION 3, The City Clerk of the .City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to
be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of
Temple City,

being Ordinance No, 75 -404 , was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City, held
on the 17th day of June , 1975, and was duly
passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a
regular meeting of the said City Council held on the 1st
day of July , 1975, by the following vote:
