A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND THE MANAGEMENT
AND GENERAL EMPLOYEES' SALARY SCHEDULES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted an Employee
Classification and Position Plan and on occasion amends the plan as needed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted a salary
resolution with salary schedules for Management and General Employees'; and
WHEREAS, the City has identified a need for the following positions;

1 New City Engineer Public Works

1 NEW CaIPERS Retired Annuitant All
WHEREAS, the new classification City Engineer will allow the City to meet its
Municipal Code obligations; and
WHERAS, the required classification is At-Will Management not subject to the
Salary Setting Policy; and
WHEREAS, the new classification CaIPERS Retired Annuitant will allow the City
to employ retired annuitants for a limited duration to assist with a backlog of work ;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amend the Employee Classification Plan and the General and
Management Employees' Salary Schedule to include the new positions as follows:
Civil Service Employees — Management
Class.Title Current Proposed Salary Range
Salary Range
City Engineer N/A DOQ
Non-Civil Service - General and Exempt At-Will Staff
Class Title Current Proposed Salary Range
Salary Range
CaIPERS Retired Annuitant N/A DOQ

Section 2. That the modifications so ordered by this resolution shall become
effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Lynwood, California, this 4t"day of February, 2020.
