A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION FROM THE UNAPPPROPRIATED
LEASE REVENUE BOND (FUND 9053) FOR THE CITY HALL AND CITY
HALL NORTH IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PHASE 2 IN THE AMOUNT
OF $469,600
WHEREAS, the City Hall and City Hall North Improvement Project (CIP No.
4011.68.059) was recently completed; and
WHEREAS, although the City Hall and City Hall North Improvement Project (CIP
No. 4011.68.059) provided more functional space, this project did not address deferred
maintenance problems; and
WHEREAS, staff proposes funding for City Hall and City Hall North Improvement
Project, Phase 2 which includes replacing the uplifted and cracked entry steps to City
Hall; updating both restrooms at the entrance to City Hall North; converting an existing
conference room into a Sheriff's Service Center at City Hall; providing window coverings
at City Hall; repairing or replacing all access doors to City Hall; repairing roofs at City Hall
and City Hall North; and repairing or replacing portions of the building sewer serving both
City Hall and City Hall North.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the City Hall and City Hall North
Improvement Project, Phase 2.
Section 2. The City Council approves the following additional appropriation for
the Project as follows:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Lynwood, California, this 7th day of April , 2020.
