ORDINANCE NO. 75 -408
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
AMENDING SECTIONS 9202 AND 9390 OF THE
TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
CONDITIONAL USES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Temple City does hereby find, determine and declare:
(a) That the City Council has heretofore
determined that it is in the public interest,
convenience and necessity to amend the Zoning
Code to require conditional use permit approval
for the sale, servicing or repair of motorcycles;
and
(b) That the existing provisions of the
Zoning Code do not so provide; and
(c) That the public interest, convenience
and necessity require the amendment of the Temple
City Municipal Code in the manner hereinafter set
forth.
SECTION 2. That new subparagraph (23B) is hereby
added to Section 9202 of the Temple City Municipal Code,
to read as follows:
"23B, Motorcycle sales, service or repairs
(excluding the C -1 zone)."
SECTION 3. That subparagraph (12) of Section 9390(A)
of the Temple City Municipal Code is hereby amended, to
read as follows:
"12. Boat and recreational vehicle sales,
(a) Sales may be conducted in the
open, except in required yard
areas; and
(b) Repairs, which must be conducted
entirely within an enclosed
building."
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to
be published in the Temple City 'Times, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of
Temple City,

being Ordinance No. 75 -408 , was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City, held
on the 1st day of July , 1975, and was duly passed,
approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by
the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting
of the said City Council held on the 15th day of July ,
1975, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dennis, Merritt, Greenberg
NOES: Councilmen - Gilbertson
ABSENT: Councilmen - Tyrell
