RESOLUTION APPROVING FIREWORKS FOR ETHNIC DAY
WltEREAS, The Borough of Cart,eret annually celebrates the diverse ethnic
heritage of its residents; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough believe that having a
fireworks display at the festival would be an enjoyable way to culminate the
event and an appropriate symbol of the community pride the festival has
come to represent; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain a permit to display the fireworks it is
necessary for the Borough to adopt a resolution approving said display.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Borough
Clerk be and here by authorized to execute such documents as are necessary
to obtain any and all permits, and facilitate the "Ethnic Day" fireworks
display.
Adopted this 5th day of September, 2002 and
certified as a true copy of the original on
September 6, 2002
