AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
APPROVING A CHANGE OF ZONE IN ZONE CHANGE
CASE NO. 7$ -454 AND AMENDING THE ZONING
MAP OF THE-CITY IN CONFORMITY THEREWITH
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby find,
determine and declare as follows:
(a) That the owner of certain real property
located in the City of Temple City, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, located generally as
a vacated portion of Glickman Avenue, located
approximately 120 feet north of Daines Drive in
said City, more particularly described as:
All that portion of Glickman Avenue lying
within Tract No. 57 as shown on map recorded
in Book 14, page 67, of Maps in the office
of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, and
within Parcel 9 as shown on licensed surveyor's
map filed in Book 20, page 36, in Record of
Surveys in the office of the County Recorder
of said County, which is bounded on the north
by a line parallel with and 120 feet northerly
(measured at right angles) from the southerly
line of said Parcel 9 and the westerly pro-
longation thereof and bounded on the south by
a line which is parallel with and 30 feet
northerly ( measured at right angles) from the
southerly line of said Tract No. 57 and said
Record of Surveys.
has heretofore filed an application for a change of
zone from R -l\to 0 -S (Open Space); and
(b) That the City Council conducted a.duly
noticed public hearing on such application, that
said hearing was duly closed; and
(c) That based upon the evidence adduced at
said hearing, the City Council files and applicable
staff reports, and each member of the City Council
being familiar with the proposed site, said City
Council determines that the zone change should be
granted as applied for, for the following reasons:
1. That the proposed zone has
adequate access and is otherwise suitable
for park site development; and
2. That the proposed zone is compat-
ible with existing development in the
vicinity; and
3. That the proposed zone is compat-
ible with the General Plan of the City.

SECTION 2. That the Zoning Code and Zoning Map of the
City of Temple City are hereby amended to change the zoning
from R -1 to 0 -S for the property located within the City of
Temple City, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
legally described as follows:
All that portion of Glickman Avenue lying within
Tract No. 57 as shown on map recorded in Book 14,
page 67, of Maps in the office of the Recorder of
Los Angeles County, and within Parcel 9 as shown
on licensed surveyor's map filed in Book 20, page
36, in Record of Surveys in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, which is bounded
on the north by a line parallel with and 120 feet
northerly (measured at right angles) from the
southerly line of said Parcel 9 and the westerly
prolongation thereof and bounded on the south by
a line which is parallel with and 30 feet northerly
(measured at right angles) from the southerly line
of said Tract No. 57 and said Record of Surveys.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same
to be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in
the City of Temple City.

being Ordinance No. 75 -417, was introduced at a regular meeting
of. the City Council of the City of Temple City, held on the
2nd day of September , 1975, and was duly passed,
approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by
the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting
of the said City Council held on the 16th day of September,
1975, by the following vote:
