REGULATIONS", OF CHAPTER 71 ENTITLED ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough
of Carteret, a municipal corporation of the State of New Jersey, located in
Middlesex County, thereof, as follows:
Section 1. The following fees established pursuant to Article I, "Licensing
Regulations" of Chapter 71 entitled ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are hereby
amended as follows:
{}71-6. Plenary Retail Consumption License.
Increase fee from Four Hundred Thirty Eight Dollars ($438.00) to One
Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1250.00)
§ 71-7. Plenary Retail Distribution License.
Increase fee from Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) to Seven Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($750.00)
§ 71-8. Club Licenses.
Increase fee from Fifty Dollars ($50.00) to One Hundred Fifty ($150.00)
Section 2. All Ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsistent with the
provision of this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to the extent of
any such inconsistencies.
Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this Ordinance
shall be declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the
section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be sever able from
the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication
according to applicable law.
