Home My Public Portal About018-1989- ZONING - 115 NORTH 9TH STORDINANCE NO. 18-1989 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 154 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING ORDINANCE NO.2325-1968, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 115 NORTH 9TH STREET, FROM R-4 MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO C-3 CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance No. 2325 -1968 designates and describes as R-4 Multi -Family Residence District the property located at 115 North 9th Street; and, WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the zoning classification of said property from R-4 MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO C-3 CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT; and WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conductede Richmond City Plan Commission the�� sday of ,1989, at which time remonstrances were heard from all parties interested in or affected by this Ordianance; and, WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was to_ _in favor of/' recommending the passage of Amended Ordinance No. 18-1989. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana as follows: SECTION 1. That the zoning classification of the property described below, and the same is hereby changed to C-3 Central Business and that said property be regulated in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana and all amendments thereto. TRACT A part of Lot Number One Hundred Fifty-eight (158) in Charle W. Starr's Addition to the City of Richmond, Indiana; beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot and running thence east seventy-eight and six tenths (78.6) feet to a notch in sidewalk; thence south thirty-nine (39) feet to an iron pipe; thence west seventy-eight and six tenths (78.6) feet to the east line of North 9th Street; thence north thirty-nine (39) feet to the place of beginning. TRACT II Lot Number One Hundred Fifty-seven (157) in Charles W. Starr's Addition to the City of Richmond, except thirty (30) e Ordinance No.18-1989 Page 2 feet in width off the entire north side thereof. ALSO Thirty (30) feet off the entire north side of Lot Number One Hundred Fifty seven 157) in Charles W. Starr's Fifth Addition to the City of Richmond, Indiana. ALSO A part of Lot Number One Hundred Fifty-eight (158) in Charles W. Starr's Addition to the City of Richmond, Indiana, beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot and running thence east one hundred four and thirty hundredths (104.30) feet to the southeast corner of said Lot; thence north fifteen (15) feet to a notch in the concrete alley to the rear of said Lot; thence west twenty-five and seventy hundredth (25.70) feet to an iron pipe; thence north thirteen (13) feet to a point three (3) feet south of an iron pipe; thence west seventy-eight and sixth hundredth (78.60) feet to the west line of said Lot; thence South twenty-eight (28) feet to the place of beginning. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as by law required.
