WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than wa appropriated in the annual budget: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporaion the following additional sum of money are hereby appropriated. AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND $ 50,000. $ 50,000. SECTION 2. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sum; of money are hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for thl purposes specified. Said sum being subject to the laws governing the same. AMOUNT APPROPRIATED FUND BALANCE $ 50,000. Department of Law 3000 Other Services & Charges SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage an( approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governint emergency appropriations. Mary Mer antho se City Clerk EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City on April 17, 1989 at the hour of 7:30 P.M. Councilmember Hutton presided with the following members present: Councilmembers: Elstro, Lundy, Brookbank, Hankinson, McBride, Parker, Morris, and Paust. Absent: None The following business was had to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented Proof of Publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the date of April 7, 1989. Said notice stated that a public hearing would be held on the 17th day of April, 1989, by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the year 1989 within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The Proof of Publication was examined and found to be in order. Counoilmember Morris moved the Proof of Publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilmember Elstro and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 22-1989. President Hutton announced Ordinance No. 22-1989 was on public hearing. After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 22-1989 was placed on final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Elstro, Lundy, Brookbank, Hankinson, McBride, Morris, Parker, Paust and Hutton Nays: None The vote being 9 to 0 in favor of the passage of Ordinance No. 22-1989.
